This is putting the cart way before the horse, but I'm going to the auto parts place on base tomorrow for something, and I want to check on if, and how much I could get tractor tires, if at all. So, I have a few questions. I looked at the Miller tire website and saw Firestone and BF Goodrich which were between 300-400 bucks. But I'm not sure of the size or type I want. First, this tractor will be spending a lot of time on the road, so I want something that will last a long time and not wear out. Also, there are some that have a criss-cross patten, instead of the usual V lines. For size, I like a thick tire, but not overly huge. I guess some of that depends on the rim width, right? So it's either 12.4 or 13.6. 11 inch rims come on the H? What looks best on them. Thanks for any info. And DANG tires are expensive!!!!
