If it is a dual fuel tractor with the original manifold still on it, check to see if the manifold heat setting is on "hot" My F-12 dual fuel will sputter and act up if it is set to "hot" and over heats the fuel mixture. I also have a friend who had running problems with an old fordson kerosene tractor. It ran horrible when hot because he was using gas in it and the manifold was for kerosene only and gets real hot to vaporise the kero. I told him to try using kero in it and see if it runs better, it did!
