Farmall BN leaking gas

Hi. I've got a BN and have had two sediment bowls on it over the last couple of years that always end up leaking gas all over my nice paint job. I bought them from TSC. Anyway, I would like to do away with it and put a shut off and in-line fuel filter. Can someone tell me what I would need to screw into the tank...size,thread etc. I figured I would use compression fittings on the line. Thanks, Bob
