Correct except that the single vs narrow front for both tractors depended on row width. Single front on both was used for vegetable cultivation in narrow rows, about 20 inches. The disadvantage of the B compared to the BN is that you had to go wider instead of narrower for some row widths. My dad's 2 B's were set at 96 inches more often than not. We used spacers to get the rears wider than the factory 92 inches. The C did solve that problem. Also depends on what part of the country you are in. Tradition, right or wrong, influenced most decisions in those days.
