Thanks George. I agree with you about not buying from the dealer. I am just thinking that the fellow who works there seems to know the old tractors. I thought I might pick his brain about what will fit. I am totally lost as to what tire will fit on what rim on the 2404. The present rim is a tight fit on the hub. I had to use a short piece of 4x4 to persuade the rim to come off the hub. I am assuming that any rim I get has to fit on the hub with very little clearance. I will also check locally with dealers around here.
