Let's see here... It ran before, then you went and switched the spark plug wires all around and now it won't run... Put the plug wires back and it will run at least as good as it did before. Instead of playing Chinese-fire-drill with the plug wires, unhook them ONE AT A TIME from the distributor cap while the tractor is running (you shouldn't get shocked) and listen to see if the engine runs better or worse. When you pull a wire and the engine runs the same, it's not firing on that cylinder. Check all four cylinders. The cylinders are 1-2-3-4 starting in front.
