If the starter spins instantly (the battery is good and cables are well connected), the only two possible answers are to crank start, or pull start the tractor. DOn't pull start it if not experienced. or Taking the starter out and cleaning the existing drive in solvent, and putting a spray lube on it (if broken parts are found, a new drive is the answer) I like a spray that contains PTFE like TiiFlow. JimN
