I had a chance to glance over a few of the posts on my problem.I talked with the IH salvage yard today. He has a diesel 806 with a strong D361 engine in it.This is what he suggessed was to buy the front half of the tractor(clutch housing forward)which includes fuel tank, framerails, radiator, axle, ect. All this for the sum of 2,500.00.I wont have a problem doing the work myself sense was a tractor mechanic by trade for 12 years.Like I stated before I love my 806 and dont want get rid of her.I have plenty of other tractors to work with, but this tractor is stationed at this farm for haying duties, feeding, and mowing, and ect.I have rebuilt the reared and replaced the TA.So everything else is in great shape on the tractor including new tires all around 5 years ago.I dont feel that I could replace the tractor for that amount of money. What do you guys thing? What would you do? Thanks alot John
