Steve Congratulations on your new tractor. I am from central California. Out here, a 8n, TO-20 or TO-30, with some implements, will sell for $3000 to $4000. Farmalls are not real popular but useable tractors (Farmalls) command a price similar to your purchase. Since we are in a heavy cotton producing area, there are many Farmalls still sitting and rusting away. I just came to agreement with the purchaser of my winter forage crop (dairy feed). Upon reciept of my crop, he will deduct $325 from the total payment for my purchase of a 46 "M" and a 51 "M" cotton picker. Both tractors have not run in 15 years, but I want the tractors for spare parts. I am sure that both engines are gone but the blocks may be salvagable along with the lift-all, weights, rims and other various parts. In the "For What It Is Worth" category, I have several "M"s. The WFE 3-pt 47 "M" has consumed about $5000 and I will rebuild the engine soon. This tractor does not pull in contests or be shown at tractor shows, but is an excellant looking and still reliable farm workhorse with good tires. I justify the tractor expenditures by utilizing them on the farm. Good luck and have fun. Ray (medfarm)

We arrived hoping to meet up with a man we knew had over one
