Tim, it sounds like your float level might be set too low. My F-12 always started good too. I remember when I was having problems with the pump, I cracked the line at the fuel pump and nothing came out(Fuel that is stored in the line should've come out), but when I cranked it, it fired right up and never died. It ran long enough to pick up a prime again. If I remember right, when the bowl was empty it only took 8 or 9 complete revolutions of the crank to prime the carb and let it fire. Instead of cranking half turns, I would just keep turning it continuously until it lit off. Don't know if I could do that anymore, but I usetacould:) Doug N
