I have several things around here now that don't have the correct bolts in them. If it gets my junk to going again and saves down time and milage I am all for it. I try to keep a wide variety of bolts,nuts and washers on hand. Even keep the old tap and die set handy as well as a thread chaser to repair lot of bolts with. I believe in using everything until it is worn out and no good at all.
