I have had good luck with paint just falling off. I did get my washing soda solution mixed pretty strong, maybe that helps. I run all the current through it that my little battery charger will maintain, without tripping the reset. About the most I can get is 6 volts and 6amps. I think if I had a really heavy charger it would help. I have put lots of grease covered, painted parts in for one or two days, and the paint was just falling off. It may be the strength of your solution and the amount of current you can run through it. I found an old pair of fencing pliers the other day , buried in the dirt, they were probably my great grand dads. Rusted solid. In two or three days they worked freely, all rust gone. I oiled, worked back and forth, then degreased and primed. Found the brand, "Crescent". I am sold. Gene
