Light bulbs could care less about which polarity they operate on. The fact that your tractor is positive ground is immaterial.

Check to see if one of the wires is connected to the lamp housing - if it is, make sure that this wire goes to ground so you don't accidently short something The other one goes to the hot (ungrounded) side of the battery through a switch if if you want to be able to switch them indpendently of the regular lights, or to the switched side of the light switch if you want them to come on with the regular lights. If you connect directly to the hot side of the battery, don't forget an in-line fuse.
