If pulling the stone boat or tug pulling as we call it here the M or 460 will get in the 5000 lb class and can be weighted to whatever for other classes. In the tug pulls HP does not win those. I have beat many tractors with lots more power than my M will produce. Traction is the key in tug pulls. I have won many a pull with an M. With the tractors you mention it is hard to pick just one for a given application. The 460/560 do quite well hooked to the big sled. The 400 is just hard to beat all around. For the tug pulls you won't have to spend much money on those tractors and get to play all night. I have a grand total of 4000 bucks in my 48 M and have won many pulls with it as well as working it on the farm on almost a daily basis.
