In the last four days I learned a heck of a lot. I received a fantastic amount of information thru postings, links, and one really great e-mail. All of this information is copied and saved to my Farmall B manual addendum so that I can use it again in the future. You guessed it!!! I reset the gap and decided to try to start her. The little B has been sitting under a silver maple for two years with a big dog chained to the draw bar but she started instantly. I had put new gas in her but did nothing else. Smoked for a little while then evened right out. Ran good. Man that was a good feeling!!! I can see how people get addicted to this stuff because it is just plain fun. I guess I won't mention any names because I might forget someone but if you posted, e-mailed, or linked me this past weekend.....MANY THANKS!!!! Now I have another problem. I have this 2N that was sitting next to the B. Won't start and also has some carb woes. Lousy darn brakes if I remember right. Anyone want to follow me over to the N board and work on a 6 volt positive ground monster??? Thanks guys....I mean it. Dave
