If it misses consistently on one cyl. pull one plug wire at a time and find the guilty party. Then do a compression check, then change plugs to a different cylinder to see if it follows the plug. Then Check the intake side with a propane torch with the nozzle (burner) taken off (outside) to detect intake leaks with fuel to bake it run. (modest amounts used all over the intake manifold and carb gasket area. If none of this gets you closer, give us the info from these tests. JimN
