My wife is getting pretty fed up having to go through two sets of gates to get from the road to our house. I can't say I blame her one bit as it is a pain. I built one cattle guard out of 4" pipe but the sheep just trotted across it and the cows jumped over it although I thought 5 feet would be wide enough. I have looked on the internet but cannot find any foolproof specification for width, spacing, size of pipe etc. Do any of you guys have any experience with what works? Thanks for your help. Karl
