Many on forum will disagree but if nothing has been changed on carburator or ignition since it ran last I would try to pull start it. Dozens of times I have had tractor that did not want to start after sitting for a long time and pull start would get it started and after it ran a while it would start right up with starter. My A had not been used aince last fall until couple of weeks ago and it had same problem you have, was getting fuel and fire but would not start with starter. pulled it about 200 feet and it started missed and smoked for minute or so and smoothed right out have stared it numerous times since then and it fires up on first try.
