Hi, I don't know the bolt patterns, but am familiar with both engines. The 301 will have a roosa-master pump and cannister fuel filters on the right side, with a verticle oil filter center left. The 310 will have a german bosch pump with spin on fuel filters on the left, and a horizontal oil filter on the right. Good luck, Chuck
