I've heard that the front ends of this series of tractors is the weak link. If yours has turf tires it may have spent its life on the lawn instead of bouncing through a field. When I bought mine it had a 1300# Westendorf loader on it that the previous owner didn't know was removable. He bushhogged every year with that monster hanging on the front of the poor little tractor. As you can imagine, the steering is a little loose now.
