On the letter series tractors, the combination rear light with the bullet red light on top became an accessory available through the parts department in the late 40's, probably 47 or 48. I don't believe it was a factory option but I may be mistaken. Starting about 52, the combination light with the red inside became available as a factory option or as a parts department accessory. A combination rear light with the red inside became standard with the introduction of the hundred series.

On my old H that I have been working on the lights and charging system, the rear light is crushed but it is just your standard tear drop light like the head lights. My sons B also is like that. Was the light with the red lens an option or was it standard on all the Farmalls? Would like to be correct but have noticed the combo lights are way expensive. |
