Split both tractors, bolt entire front half of 806 to rear of 826. Swap throttle linkage and fuel lines as needed, use the 806 sheetmetal. Use the better of the two front axles. Keep in mind that the fuel tank stays with the rear half, and that the 826 fuel tank is about 10 gallons smaller. 826 rear end had quite a few improvements over the 806/early 856.
