Super MTA Clutch?

All of a sudden, I can"t get the M into gear... just grinds. It had been working fine. I had noticed though that with the TA pulled back, the tractor had been moving slower than usual. With the TA forward, it seems fine though. Clutch does nothing. Does this just sound like it needs a new clutch or could I be encountering some other type of problem? I have had the tractor 18 years and have never adjusted the clutch. It always had been fine. The clutch adjustment is in the rod or the peddal it appears. Thanks
