The best, safest and quickest way is with pump. The low budjet way and the way we did it is to have LP tank that has a liquid feed from bottom of tank (home LP hookups feed vapor from top of tank) with valve, flex hose and fitting to fit large fitting at top of tractor tank and a fitting to fit smaller fitting on top of tractor tank. You bleed large amount of vapor out through small fitting and this lowers temperatue in tractor tank (sometimes tank will frost over) causing pressure to drop in tractor tank and higher pressure from warm LP in feed tank will cause liquid LP to flow to tractor tank. When you see liquid at vent tank is full, this is wastefull (about 10% loss) and dangerous as escaping LP can easily be ignited have seen vapor drift 100 ft. or so to open flame causing fireball to flash back to tractor. Small bleed cock on tank will not bleed enough vapor to cause temperatue in tractor tank to drop enough to transfer LP from supply tank.
