you will more than likely correct the problem with a good tune up and fuel system cleaning. whne the tractor starts acting up, check the spark to make sure its not getting weak, should be a good blue spark, jumping about 1/4 inch air gap. of it is getting weak, see if the coil is getting real hot, may be a weak ignition coil too. i had problems over the weekend with a couple tractors due to the high humidity we had. moisture in the distributor caps, also had to clean up some electrical connections too because of corrosion.
