I saw a cornfield today in west central Indiana (just north of Sullivan on HWY 41), that got missed by most of the little rain we have had this month was turning brown and the ears have dropped on the high spots. it was shriveled pretty good in the low spots but still a little green left. We did have some guys get an early planting that took well and that could be one of those fields, but not sure. Everything around locally is in bad shape. The last few storms have Split and went by without more than a few drops. Saw some queen annes lace in my yard that look like they have been sprayed with roundup, tops sagged over and going south. that stuff grows great in sand and gravel pits on the hills but this dry is too much for it.
