I have three 1942 H's, two of them distillate and one of them high-altitude kerosene. The two distillates are serial number 101816 and 101821 both without a suffix and both of them still had the original dual-fuel manifolds on them, along with the extra hole in the hood, and one still had the special sediment bowl on the main fuel tank.
The third H is serial number 122068 X3B which is 5,000 foot altitude kerosene.
Every gasoline-only Farmall I've seen in the letter series has the X1 suffix or another that signifies gasoline only. Hope this helps!
