The biggest socket I have is a 13/16--what is the correct size socket(looks like a tight fit whatever it is)? Secondly, if i'm going to town for a new socket, I might as well get new plugs. What is the correct plug and gap? It has champions in it now but I can't make out what number the plugs are.
I had an old 7/8" socket made in Tiawan that I ground down on the end to a thinwall that fit. I use D21 because I only scrape a 600' driveway and bushhog a little over 5 acres. The gap depends on standard ignition, converted to 12 V w/high voltage coil or electronic ignition. BTW CNKS, soot is correct. Just looked it up in my Funk & Wagnals dictionary. Anyone remember that? David.
