H Troubles

I am working on a 1945 H. Its running. Unfortunately, when I try to go uphill or put it under any load, it goes fine for a while and then sputters and dies like it's out of gas. Adjusting the carbuerator screws seems to have little effect.

I have plenty of gas in the tank. Gas runs freely through the gas line. Is this some sort of carb trouble or am I looking in the wrong place.

If its a gummed up carb, what should I do?
