Almost there! Wondering about the adjustment of the floats. Should I be playing with this or leave it alone since it worked before I took it apart? Manual says to use a "standard depth gauge" but I am not really sure what this tool is. Is this one of those dial type machinist tools? Don't have it if that is the case. I went down and looked in my dad's toolbox (funny but I have never been able to mix my dad's stuff with mine) and found an old stainless 6" ruler with 32nds marked. I held this up and one float is about a 32nd high and the other the same low. How critical is this? Little voice in my head says don't mess with it.
