GOOD! Man Jim you really don't know how releving this is to hear!!!!
I thought for certain I was doing wrong by not replacing the cam bearings. I looked and looked and couldn't find squat and no one....NO ONE....could give me an answer why. Now I know it is just something I couldn't help anyway so that is cool with me!
Now I'll tell you what.....I had no idea that the gaskets were supposed to be shims. When I tore it down it had 3 gaskets on it and it had some slight wear on the plate. I think I put 3 or maybe 4 back on it (because I had an extra) because they were very very thin gaskets and I figured maybe I had to. I think I may need to tear into it again......
