i belive the LP-450 if it still has the good LP-head on it was only 8-1 compresion, you might want to run it up with a advance timing ligt and start at about 36 degreeze total advance at 1600 rpm,s remember when compresion goes up timing usaly needs to come back, i have built a few of these for pulling and run the copresion as hi as 14.1 then had to watch for spark knock,ran those at around 34 degreze with tarco fuel,just watch what your doing and you should feel the diffrence in the seat of your pants,lp-manifold is a + unless you use it in the winter time then it will ice , there is no profesion for the heat on a true 450-LP motor.
