Hello Sir, I hope I am sending this reply out correctly, I've never used one of these discussion board things, so I'm not at all certain how they work. [If this ends up in the wrong place, I would request any help from anyone as to what I am supposed to do.] Sir, wow, the replies were very fast and extensive [and some rather entertaining]. As I mentioned in an email -which was returned undeliverable- -now I understand why-.. I was given your name by a gentleman in Panora, IA. I was working on a short film shoot there and we were working on his farm for one location. He had several tractors, one of which was a Farmall H. Hearing my interest, he shared with me some stickers, toys, etc., plus a very nice document which he stated he had received from yourself. In that document form you listed a great deal of information about his specific tractor, [date made, location, etc.]. My father has a Farmall B. I mentioned that I would like to get my father such a document for his birthday this year. He will be 83. He gave me an obviously old email address and told me that I should contact you, that you were very helpful and could likely create the same kind of document for me. He mentioned that I would need a number, [serial? manufacture?] from my Dad's B. I don't even know where to look on Dad's tractor for that number though I used to help work with it and help fix it for years. My life has taken a different course. I would be very, very appreciative if you could help me with this - I want to give my father something I know he'd enjoy, and at 83 it is getting harder and harder to find things the folks want or need. His birthday is this September 2nd. I hope that gives us some time. I will pay you what I can for your efforts, since it seems that you no longer have the resources available to you that you likely had some years ago. Also, I understand from this 'board' that you authored a book. I think that might be a very cool addition to my gift idea; can you tell me if it is still available? My Dad always told me that his B was built about 46 or 48? Any help would be so much appreciated. Also, I don't mind using this form, but if it would be better to send some information to an email or ISP/FTP site, please let me know and I will get that information to you. Again, my many thanks. Today's Featured Article - Experimental Tractors Article - by Danny Bowes (Dsl). Tractor technology appears to have nearly hit it's pinnacle of development. If you agreed with the subtitle, you are rather mistaken. Quite, actually. As a matter of fact, some of the technology experimented with over 40 years ago makes today's tractor technology seem absolutely stale by comparison. Experimentation, from the most complex assembly to the most simple and mundane component, is as an integral a part of any farm tractor's development
