I have a 424 and broke the draft spool while pulling a cultivator. The IT manual says to remove it during control valve overhaul but doesn't say HOW to remove it. I have the entire control valve assembly out of the hydraulic housing and the control valve head off. I think I need to drive the spool assembly out from the back and out the front face. Can anyone verify this? Case/IH part number for the spool is 304908R91 IH item number 54 IT item number 23 and 24 page 66
