The inner ends on my tie rods had been welded, looks like some kind of field repair.
OEM has the inner end and tube that they say is correct for a SA. Their tube is 17 inches long but I measured the old tube on mine and it is 13 inches. Since mines been welded it hard to tell what it might have been to start with.
I then measured the ones on out 140's and the tube is 16 inches long.
The outer ends on mine are differant from the inner ends so I will re-use them. The outer ends are like on a cub if that makes any differance.
Can someone tell me the total length of the tube on their SA tie rod or what is the correct length. I am thinking I may have to cut the new ones down to make them work right.
