I spent a week in laughflen for my 30th birthday....(august 13th) we stayed at the riverside casino. We rented a car next to the nice air port don laughflen built. Gas was 2.53 a gallon comparred to 2.99 in minnesota. In fact phonix az had the lowest gas of everyone in the u.s. Don laughflen he is from minnesota, so he always gives minnesotans a great deal on sun country (which he has his hand in also) airlines and the rooms are free basicly. We paid 189 per person including 5 nights and round trip. So we just rented a car from bullhead az and went 2 vegas from there. It was so hot on the 14th of aug. it was 106 an hour after the sun went down!!! It was a nice place to visit and i will visit again every year, but i would not like to live there. Just too dam hot!!! dry heat or not it was very hot!! We went to the hoover dam and other places while we were out there. I gotta say it was a lot nicer then vegas especally the air port...if you can call it an air port! so small!!! I would love to come back in the winter! My mom and dad turned me onto laughflen as she said you only need to pay once and after that you will get free vouchers to come back and stay for free....My mom regulary turns down offers to go there for free. Yup don laughflen takes care of his fellow friends from minnesota. I will certinally be back again! I like the river and the long cat walk that connects all the casino's. there is gonna be a show on t.v. it is gonna be called "Viva laughflen" i belive it will run on fox but im not 100% sure on that. Have fun!

Today's Featured Article - Harvestin Corn in Southern Wisconsin: The Early Years - by Pat Browning. In this area of Wisconsin, most crops are raised to support livestock production or dairy herds in various forms. Corn products were harvested for grain, and for ensilage (we always just called it 'silage'). Silo Filling Time On dairy farms back in the 30's and into the first half of the 40's, making of corn silage was done with horses pulling a corn binder producing tied bundles of fresh, sweet-smelling corn plants, nice green leaves with ear; the ...
