That's what I'm doing. I'm only digging into the things I know I need to get it running. The previous owner told me it stopped running 8 years ago because the fuel flow stopped. So my concern beyond the tank and strainer is the fuel line and the carb. I have the carb off and am going to be taking it to a friend who has rebuilt his before (on an OS-4) so we can inspect and clean it.
It's odd, the fuel fitting at the carb has double fittings, but no screen in there.
