Hi All , I was out doing some cleanup raking due to strong wind while baling hay Saturday and the tranny went chunk , chunk and it started to buck a little then not go . I limped it back to the house but it doesn't sound good . 5th gear works the best being direct through and all the gears still work just not very well . I think I may have broke some teeth or dropped a bearing . I won't know for a couple months because this is the busiest time of year for us . And it's not work related busy it's buckskinning and family reunions and so forth . With the M&W nine speed this isn't going to be a easy fix I can tell but at least it uses all original style bearings according to the M&W manual . It's been acting up since I've owned it but I've only used it about three times this year to move the hay rack into position to unload and then to do this cleanup work since the other tractor was on the baler . It always growled but worked good and shifted well . OH well , it goes on the list of to-do's . Not a high priorty thing but I'll get to it . I'll need it for plow days next spring . Thanks for listening ! Take care ...Randy
