My back cost me an overnight canoe trip I do every year, but I did meet up with those folks on the sand bar for the over night stay. I will say the plie of "aluminum" the next morning was impressive!. I did check the corn field next to the levy and although it was nice and green, there was very few kernals on the cobs (only 4-5 tops)and the cut worms had a "field day". May not be a good corn year around here. From what I saw, may not pay to pick it.
