I have never visually verified it but I understand that the position for 3rd and 4th gears were transposed for those F-20"s that came with steel wheels and those made with rubber and that the speeds were somewhat different, though that even at that the speeds for those with rubber were still quite slow compared to those trac tractors that came afterwards. I can"t verify where my 3rd and 4th, which came on steel lay right now but it is a way in which one can tell the original configuration of your tractor when new.
