O Contrary, Aaron my friend. I've got a Woods 650 mounted on a JD 750. I've done a HEAP of work with it (albeit slowly) and done no discernable damage to the tractor in 11 years. I did put hardened bushings in the toplink mounting point on the tractor. Other than that, it's right out of the box. Of course I could do more work faster with a big commercial rig, but I have about one tenth of the money invested that you do. As to a CADdigger on an A, I'm not so sure about that idea. You DO put a lot of unusual forces on the mounting system, and I'd be afraid of cracking the transmission or axle castings where things mount. It might be okay if the hoe is small enough and the mounts are designed well enough. I'd be more comfortable with putting the digger on it's own permanent trailer and towing it with the A.
