Robert, my guess would be an injector. My 350 developed a miss and it would just miss at mid throttle ranges and was worse when no load at all was on it. While pulling hard you could not hardly even notice the miss. As time when on it got worse. when I tore it down the little nipple on one injector was burned off. Causes a bad spray pattern and misfiring.
