Red Yes, 3 out of 4 of the plugs were black sooty. One was carboned up pretty good. Two of the others were about what you would expect to find and the last one, closest cylinder to the fan, was brown. Like I said, of 4 plugs only two were the same number. I'm going to run these for a while and see how it works seeing how these c87's are quite a hotter spark. Then I'll pull them out and check them over. If they carbon up then I'll readjust that carburator. They really didn't look that terrible from other plugs I'd seen. But Thanks for the imfo Red. I've still got to finish putting in hood bolts. :) Richie
