The 230 is a great little tractor. Replaced the 200 which replaced the Super C. They are a little rarer then the other two. Yours is a 57 model. There was 7170 of them built. Will pull 2 X 14 inch plows very well. Requires a mid mount lift bracket for front cultivator. One thing I like about the SC and 200 better is they both have the touch control unit where as the 230 had hydra touch and no front lift. Other than that they nearly the same tractor. J means it has the Rockford heavy duty clutch in it. The last 230 I seen sell brought 1950.00 with cultivators on it.It was in good shape.
