There does seem to be some discrepancy. The supplier that I get my Autolite plugs from recommends the 386 for a Farmall H, and the 388 is one step hotter. At the same time, the Autolite Chart recommends the 3116 for the same application. I am using the 386 in my 1950 H, and it runs better than it ever did with A.C.s and much better than it did with Champions. Guess I need to get some 3116s also and give those a try.
