I discovered in the back of a friend's tool shed a Farmall 706 LP Gas. Everything looks original. The front side emblem identifies it as a 706 w/ lp gas in lieu of the diesel imprint. The s/n is 1292, so I think it is a '63. He says it runs. It has narrow front w/ 18-4 x 34 rear tires, fast hitch, ta, small fenders, sheet metal is in good shape. A unique tractor to me because growing up in northern Indiana, no one I knew of had a lp tractor. There must have been some around (see them at the shows) but I've never seen one at work.
Are these common in other parts of the counntry? Just looking for comments on how many 706 lp gassers were made and when. Who else has one? Where are you located?
I love this website. Great stories, great mechanical help, I've learned many things from reading the posts. Thanks.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
