Kirk, I don"t understand why you keep bringing up the problems with the W-6. I have seen your tractor first hand and it"s in pretty good shape for it"s age. Your neighbor has the parts you need to replace the ones that you feel are not up to par. With a little effort and patience, the tractor could be done completly in 2 to 3 months. The first step is convincing yourself you CAN do it. Order the parts and service books for it, and enjoy the time you spend while fixing a nice tractor such as yours. JMHO. As far as the M goes, I grew up around and on them. I prefer the W series. Charles
