I hope one of you fellers with more experience than I can give me some advice. I pull a five ft. drag type brush hog with my Super A. It works very well. But, since I have a fixed drawbar, I don't have lift controll. So, here's the question. Could a guy just remove the bolts that hold the drawbar in its fixed position so that it could rotate on the large pins in the drawbar's mounting plates; and then run a couple of rods from the drawbar up to the rear lift arms, so as to have, in effect, a drawbar that lifts and lowers hydraulically? I think it would work neat with the brush hog; but maybe I am not considering something. I don't want to hang a three point hitch on this tractor. I like my drawbar. It works with the plough and also with the way my belly mower sets up--for lawn cutting.
