Could a guy just remove the bolts that hold the drawbar in its fixed position so that it could rotate on the large pins in the drawbar's mounting plates; and then run a couple of rods from the drawbar up to the rear lift arms, so as to have, in effect, a drawbar that lifts and lowers hydraulically? I think it would work neat with the brush hog; but maybe I am not considering something. I don't want to hang a three point hitch on this tractor. I like my drawbar. It works with the plough and also with the way my belly mower sets up--for lawn cutting.
