To get the hydraulics to work at a decent pace the tractor throttle has to be very high and then they work ok. We have heard they may have a gearing change for the pump to get the better response.
Been through all this with a 460 if the pump is making some noise it is probably the pick-up tube that goes between the filer and the pump...read old oak farmalls article like was stated earlier in this post...probably a couple O Rings and You will need that pick up tube and the seal about 45 dollars if i remember correctly and you will be in great shape. After you do that you will have my problem that your chasing leaks as it has more pressure than its had for years !!!
