The 300U is exactly same length from rear axles to front of bolster as are the H, M, 300 and 400. The U-34 loader will bolt right up at rear axle housings, and you will have to do some fabrication modification to attach loader frame at the front.
Back eons ago I had a Wagner loader on a Cockshutt 540, Utility tractor very close configuration to the 300U. I did a bit of mearuring one day and decided to mount that loader on my Farmall 300. To my surprise it bolted right up at rear axle housing. At that point I had a mobile welder come in and we had it bolted to tractor front end in less than 3 hours.
Most folks think Utility type loaders are too short for row crop tractors, and that chassis height difference will be too great. There is not a lot of difference in length from rear axle housing to front of bolster, between any 4 cylinder row crop or utility, any make. Utilities also at axle housing are only about 2-3 closer to ground.
I once bought a farm, the vendor had Farmalls 504 and 656 plus a IH 2000 loader, a 4 and a 6 cylinder tractor. When he bought these new in 67 the loader came on 656. Around 70 he decided to mount loader on 504 and had to cut 6" out of loader frame back near the axle housings, plus he had to change to front mounts. Since I wasn't going to keep the 504, but did want the loader and wanted to mount it on my Farmall 560. I had to weld the 6" back in the frame, modify the front mount to fit the 6 cylinder 560. Actually the 560 and 656 both being 6 cylinder, the loader mounting was identical.
What I learned in these experiences, it actually takes longer to modify a loader from a 4 to a 6 cylinder tractor than it does from 4 cylinder utility to 4 cylinder row crop. Not a lot of difference, but it was a bit more complicated.
